What a Summer this has been! In May, I got laid off from a job I'd had for 5 years. In case you didn't know I am a librarian and in the 20 years of working in libraries, I'd NEVER heard of lay-offs. It just doesn't happen- until now. (On the bright side, I got to spend the Summer at home with my 3 kids.) Shortly thereafter, my husband found out his company had been bought and will be moved to another part of the country. We're still waiting to find out if he will still have a job. This Summer has really made me stop and take a look at what's important and what doesn't really matter.
Oh, and I just started working at a new job today and even though itsonly one day a week, I'm still very grateful for it!
